Hello, I am a woman, I live in Argentina, I am 46 years old (2014) and I was a smoker until a year ago. In May 2013, during a mammogram, they detected a small tumor. I immediately stopped smoking and I have not gone back to it, nor do I want to do so again.
I had surgery a month later, they removed it and after studying some markers they said that it was a very non-aggressive tumor, with a low growth rate, non-recessive, hormonal. Anyway, as a precaution, they treated me with radiotherapy, about 33 sessions. I lost a lot of weight because due to the emotional shock I didn't want to eat anything. They told me that it was very good that I had lost weight because fat is a breeding ground for this type of tumor, but that I should be careful not to weaken myself too much. They suggested that I take a chemical called tamoxifen for life, but after analyzing it a lot, talking about it with my oncologist and my family, I decided not to take it because it generated a lot of distrust in me.
I have been taking kalanchoe since October until March of this year. I would take it for a month and rest for 15 days, or I would take it for two months in a row, rest for a week and so on... I was very visceral with the intake of kalanchoe, in the sense that if I felt the need to consume it during a break I would do so, perhaps for a week and then rest. I took the kalanchoe chopped up in small pieces with orange juice in the mornings. When the plants were small I ate two or three leaves, when they were bigger I took 30 grams a day. Now the last time I took it was in autumn for a month.
After several tests, with excellent results, they suggested that I take it in autumn and spring, and so I will do. We have two varieties at home: Kalanchoe pinnatta and Daigramontiana, the latter being the one I consumed the most.
In the last mammogram and breast ultrasound check-ups corresponding to the year of the operation, some cysts that had been in my breasts since I was 20 years old and up until this last check-up, had completely disappeared, there was no trace left of them!
Since the operation I have also been doing pulse acupuncture sessions and have taken various tinctures, such as echinacea tincture and also graviola. We also made a blood purifying set with calendula, yarrow and nettle tincture. I took about 20 drops of each a day. I wanted to take them until I finished them but I was told that it was not necessary for my good state of health, so I stopped taking them and after a break I took them again and I have not finished them yet.
At first I didn't want to eat anything because I thought everything was poisoned, but then I found a balance and now I'm leaning towards a healthy diet, but if I'm ever invited to a barbecue or to have ice cream or just pizza at a friend's house, I eat and drink without remorse. I'm reading a very interesting book about nutrition and blood type and I've found some answers there and I've been able to understand after reading a lot of theories and opinions and various studies, that the connection with the body, learning to listen to it, is very important.
The check-ups used to be every two months and now they are every four. I am currently taking graviola and when I finish that I will rest and go back to echinacea, which is my favourite plant. I will take kalanchoe again in spring and I am growing plants to help whoever may need it. I have also worked and am working very hard in psychological therapy and my family and I have decided on a drastic and decisive change in our lifestyle, back to our roots, to contact with the earth and with ourselves, in addition to the diet that my family agrees to follow in a healthy way.
The news of the malignant tumor hit me like a bomb. Now I am getting back to being myself, although there are some fundamental changes that will last forever. It is important to take care of the body and also the soul. To look for a path of complete healing that will take us until the last of our days. The truth is that for me, beyond the fact that it was frightening how this change came into our lives, I have to recognize that there were many positive things that were born and healed from such a scare.
I hope this testimony is useful and opens up good perceptions and thoughts for a healing path. We must be our own doctors.
