I was diagnosed with diabetes in 1999 after having suffered a stroke. I was initially taking insulin for a period of no more than 6 months, then I switched to metformin, 3 pills a day. 5 weeks ago I started taking stevia and noticed a significant drop in blood glucose after 6 or 7 days of taking stevia. I combined metformin with stevia for another week. Afterwards I gradually reduced my intake of metformin until I reached my current dose, half a metformin pill after dinner and stevia straight from the plant 3 times a day. Lately my blood pressure is 13 and 7.7 and my heart rate is 65. My blood glucose 5 minutes ago was 93, and I had breakfast 4 hours ago. So I must confirm that I am benefiting very positively.
I have also stopped taking two antidepressants a day, as well as sleeping pills. For 2 years I have taken antidepressants of all brands and models and now I have replaced these doses with St. John's Wort. For a month now I have been taking one capsule a day. It is harder for me to fall asleep but I sleep at least eight hours a day. Now I only have to overcome one phase, the pain I suffered all over my body, from my hips to my head. Now I no longer suffer as much pain, only in my hip and knee joints. Until 40 days ago I was taking at least three Gelocatil a day. Now I don't take even half.
I must say that I decided on my own to stop taking allopathic medication and switch to alternative medicine. I believe that each person should be responsible for their decisions and assume their responsibilities.
